EA12/450 is a 'D' shaped, soft rubber-feel earpiece which fits comfortably over the radio operators ear. This earpiece is compatible with the Entel HX Series and is connected to a combined tie clip microphone, the press to talk button is attached via a curly cable making movement less restricted.
A rotating strain relief clip can attach to your collar in order to prevent the earpiece from being dislodged should the cable be pulled/ This earpiece enables the radio user to carry the radio on their belt as well as having the facility to make and receive calls without having to remove their radio. With this earpiece you do not have to use the radio in order to make and receive calls, this can simply be done via the earpiece, this is a positive as it ensures that the radio is kept safe alongside ensuring that calls are not missed especially when the operator is in noisy environments.
This accessory is designed for light to medium duty applications, in order to ensure maximum life span then it should be personally allocated to users.
