CXR5/DX is a high quality rugged bone conductive compact helmet-com unit which is suitable for professionals who work within hazardous conditions. This earpiece has a dirt protected microphone alongside a single speaker which easily mounts into most helmet types, this enables the radio operator to have clear, hands-free communication.
The headset attaches through a quality in-line connector to a large rugged waterproof push to talk switch. This can clip onto a belt or another suitable position using the rugged revolving clip ensuring that it does not get in the way.
The press to talk switch is simple to use and can be used by a gloved hand or even when positioned under clothing, this again enables the radio operator to communicate with ease. As with all bone conductive accessories, we do not recommend using voice operated transmit (VOX)
