It is also license free and includes key features such as LCD display, 16 channels and up to 8 km range, with no call charges.
The T62 radios are supplied with rechargeable NiMH batteries, and these are charged via the USB twin-lead charging cable supplied with the radios. The battery life is up to 18hrs. The T62 radios can also be powered by standard AA batteries if needed.
